Manaia was founded by Interior designer Prachi Sanghvi with the intention of bringing together the worlds of design and craftsmanship. The idea behind Manaia is to find joy and celebrate the simplicity of design. Manaia is creating modern heirlooms to last a lifetime. Manaia offers products that are designed with the belief that every object is an invitation to a journey, and that we should be able to feel it, even if it is just once. Our collections are an attempt to make basic everyday things interesting while exploring the properties of different materials. Our work is testament to the fact that handmade need not necessarily mean irregular, with all our final products displaying clean lines and crisp curves and edges.
Manaia works with a range of contractors, from small workshops to internationally renowned designers. Besides smaller products, Manaia also does spaces including furniture and interior projects.
